An article by LAC’s state policy director, Tracie M. Gardner, and Kymsha Henry, co-director of the Young Women of Color HIV/AIDS Coalition, is now prominently featured on TheBody.com.

The article, in response to Mayor Bloomberg’s new sex-ed mandate for New York schools, revisits the history of similar policies, especially in the context of HIV infection rates, and calls on city officials to consult with practitioners and community groups in order to follow through on the new mandate.
