WISH-NY Advisory Board
The Women's Initiative to Stop HIV in New York State (WISH-NY), a project of the Legal Action Center, seeks to answer the need for a sustained presence to educate policymakers in New York State about the alarming impact of HIV among women and girls of color.
The advisory board will:
- help guide and shape our work,
- keep us grounded in emerging and current issues,
- provide political and strategic advice,
- ensure that WISH policy and advocacy work reflects the cross section/multiple issues/systems that affect the lives of women of color/young women at risk for and living with HIV/AIDS, and
- provide the Initiative with increased expertise and credibility.
