Recent and Upcoming Events at LAC
Each spring, the Legal Action Center presents the Arthur Liman Public Interest Award at the annual Awards Gala, a fundraiser supporting the work of the Legal Action Center and its Arthur Liman Policy Institute. LAC holds other benefits throughout the year, including film screenings. Tickets for the gala and other benefits are available at the LAC Store.
LAC conducts ongoing trainings and workshops, addressing issues including patient confidentiality, legal services and health care access. These workshops are generally targeted to service providers and free of charge.
Arthur Liman Awards
Rory Kennedy, award winning documentary filmmaker, and Brad S. Karp, Partner and co-chair of the litigation department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, were honored at the seventh annual Legal Action Center/Arthur Liman Policy Institute Awards Benefit on May 21 at the Tribeca Rooftop.
