As the piece notes, the increase in marijuana arrests in recent years means thousands more people are facing barriers obtaining employment and housing; it also compounds the problem of rap sheet errors.

The foundation has been a continuing supporter of LAC's legal services, particularly rap-sheet education workshops that are critical to helping people with criminal records.
